Investors in People Silver Standard

Chemigraphic is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) 'silver' award. Of the businesses assessed in the UK, only 1% of these go on to achieve this certification – so this is a massive achievement for the business.

The IIP Standard is a respected stamp of quality worldwide, recognising what the best businesses are made of, with a Standard that sets them apart. The Standard recognises a company's commitment to developing its people and demonstrates its ambition, drive and focus to the rest of the world.

The IIP assessment took place in the last few weeks and involved an independent assessor coming to our factory to interview members of staff. The results showed that the Chemigraphic vision and values were embedded into every aspect of the organisation and we were able to demonstrate that we are working hard to create an environment where we respect colleagues, communicate well and where people can learn and develop effectively.

Stephen Perkins, Chemigraphic CEO, said:

'IIP's bronze, silver and gold accreditations are reserved for companies that have achieved above and beyond the basic IIP standard's 39 requirements. To gain silver accreditation, Chemigraphic needed to meet over 76 additional evidence indicators in addition to the standard requirements. This is the first time that Chemigraphic has been assessed and to achieve Silver at our first attempt is incredible and a testament to everyone who works here'

This is an organisational achievement, not an individual one, so it is something for us all to be proud of. I want this business to aspire for excellence – both for our customers and within our own organisation – and the Silver IIP accreditation is a testament to this ambition.'
